Summer, it's finally here! This means watering. Most lawns need about an inch per week. This is roughly 3 times a week for about 20 minutes. Deep and infrequent is the catch phrase to get those roots to go down. Established plantings need less. Depending on exposure, soil type, etc- usually 10-15 minutes twice a week is adequate. Use less water, keep your plants healthy, and have less weeds!

Summer is a great time to prune, and get those limbs back away from the house, entries, gates, and driveways. Especially if you need to paint, are getting ready to sell, or just moved in. September and October are great times to renovate or replace your lawn. Think about it, you re-paint, re-roof, remodel- you should also re-lawn.
